Outfitting

We undertake the wide range of service from the planning of exterior and interior outfitting up to the functional design leading to the connection drawing / fabrication drawing as well as the construction drawing. We offer even the foundation drawing of auxiliary machine like windlass or winch required the connecting accuracy, that the customer will be satisfied with, based on our abundant experience and knowledge.

 

Piping outfitting

We undertake the service from the functional design leading to the systematic diagram of piping, piping connection drawing, fabrication drawing of the pipe and pipe support fabrication drawing up to the production design. With regard to the complicated piping of the accommodation and pump room, we provide the drawing of the hull member, drawing of duct, the fabrication drawing of the pipe without interference with other pipe, and pipe support fabrication drawing by use of three-dimensional piping model creation software. If we are requested to do the structural design and machinery equipment design as a package, we can offer the hole making on the hull member for piping, lower part curling of outfitting parts, and pipe connection with the machinery very quickly.

 

Contents of main service

Using the technology and broad expertise that we have developed as one of IHI group, we offer the detailed design of overall machinery including machinery arrangement, piping equipment, miscellaneous outfitting, outfitting etc. from general merchant ship up to the special ship based on the abundant experience and track record.

 

Piping outfitting drawing(2D/3D)

We offer various equipment drawings and detailed drawings of overall machinery of merchant ship as well as the special ship, that meet the customer needs, including the piping connection drawing, fabrication drawing of pipe, pipe support fabrication drawing etc.

 

*Design by the Ajisai(3D CAD)
Creation of the piping connection drawing, fabrication drawing of pipe, pipe support fabrication drawing by use of three-dimensional CAD owned by IHIMU.

We can check the integrity of piping connection, and confirm the interference with other pipe or outfitting parts by use of three-dimensional CAD.(when we are requested to create the hull design at the same time, it is possible to check the interference with the hull)

Outfitting drawing

Creation of the drawing of the miscellaneous outfitting (exhaust gas pipe), tank (hull / independent tank), foundation of auxiliary machine, and duct as well as the fabrication drawing of overall machinery of general merchant ship. We create the drawing to enable the shape optimum focusing on the function aspects and outfitting work easier with regard to all of outfitting drawings.
