Since IMC Co., Ltd. was established in 1975 as a company of Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. specializing in the sale and running repair of ship parts, we have constantly provided technical service and parts contributing to the safe operation of ships. In October 2015, IMC took over modification design, ship storage service, a ship repairs dockyard referral business, and three overseas subsidiaries for Japan Marine United Corporation (JMU), transforming us into a company offering speedy services throughout a ship’s lifecycle on a global scale. Much more than merely a company in charge of the after-sales service for JMU-built ships, IMC offers a comprehensive and broad spectrum of ship-related services for both new and in-service ships, such as the necessary technical support, part sale, device maintenance & inspection, emergency repairs, energy-saving equipment installation, modification and dock mediation. We also engage in the development, manufacture and sale of shipboard management systems.
