Features and benefits of “TRIMMER”
- 1.Possible to omit the tasks that needed to be done by experienced workers to adjust block height and top inclination. TRIMMER’s top plate can be freely moved length-wise by 15 degrees each side and 7.5 degrees each width-wise. Moreover, TRIMMER has a stroke of 250 to 300 mm height-wise, therefore it can be automatically fitted to the ship bottom shape.
- 2. No risk of hull damage due to excessive, localized reaction force. The hull only receives reaction force up to the support load. It also equally receives reaction force from the entire top plate surface.
- 3. Improves accessibility and transportability on the dock floor.
Stand-alone type not requiring piping or cables for power, enabling free movement and a neat, clutter-free dock floor. - 4. High reliability and easy maintenance.

External portions exposed alternately to sea water and air are made from stainless steel or protected with anti-corrosive coating, and critical components such as valves are stored internally where they are not exposed to sea water. - 5. Portions of the ship bottom’s outer plate can be easily replaced.
Even when the hull is supported, the top plate can be lowered via valve operation and the TRIMMER main units can be moved, or easily recovered with gas filling. - 6. Possible to use a traveling device on the dock side.
There are no needs for side struts to prevent the hull from toppling sideways.
