We do the overall design of the general merchant ship, putting emphasis on the detailed design of the hull and creation of the fabrication drawing.

Creation of the YARD PLAN Drawing

We offer the YARD PLAN determined the connecting
position or optimum shape of each part, fulfilling its function suitable for the type of ship.
We design to meet the customer’s request with our abundant experience and knowledge.
In addition, we would undertake the modification work
of construction to be determined the complicated arrangement or shape of each part, by checking various aspects. Please consult us about any modification from minor to major work.

Creation of the fabrication drawing

We give a name to each part based on the Yard Plan Drawing and create the Parts List based on this information.

We create the fabrication drawing including assembly information, groove information, and plate expansion information etc.,
that will meet the customer needs, with consideration for the construction process on the customer’s side.
We offer the fabrication drawing suitable  to the work site, with the result of the study of material handling, individual system drawing and nesting.

Work Flow

The Ajisai team

We create the data of individual system drawing of the hull, by use of three-dimensional CAD system, which is applicable to various shape of the hull member. In addition, the groove tracking or connecting angle etc. are automatically calculated, therefore, we can create more accurate individual system drawing of the hull.                           
Moreover, we can check the connection or interference with other block as well as creating the welding leg length drawing or bird’s eye view of each block by use of three-dimensional display of all parts.

The individual system drawing team

We create the data of individual system drawing of the hull by use of two-dimensional CAD system.

This system was originally developed to intend to design the hull part of ship. However, nowadays, it became to be the general-purpose system applicable other steel structures as well.

Material handling / NEST team

We calculate the results of nesting automatically that realize the good yield rate by use of the steel plate data, corresponding individual system drawing data and parts list.
This makes the economical parts arrangement to the rectangular plate possible, resulting in reducing the man-hour for nesting work and enhancing the yield rate.
