Naval ship & marine business is divided into the new shipbuilding business that builds a wide variety of ships, mainly escort ships, minesweepers, and patrol vessels, and ship-repair business that repairs and remodels them.
We have 5 bases for ship-repair such as Yokohama (Isogo and Tsurumi), Kure, Maizuru, and Innoshima. Our unparalleled technical capabilities cultivated over our long history and our responsiveness with numerous repair bases have earned us high praise from many customers. The repair business is also active in the field of merchant ships. We have led the completion of many difficult construction projects, such as large-scale life extension and remodeling work for aging ships. All aspects such as quality, safety, and process control have been highly evaluated, and in recent years, we have also repaired US warships.
